"It would be great to fly all the way to the sun and say hello to him. I have a little brother and little sister, also other birds, and I can say hello to the sun from them. That's my goal. I'll try," the bird said and started telling the whole bird kingdom about his decision.
However, all the birds were shooking their heads in disbelief: "He's gone crazy, that little bird! He wants to fly all the way to the sun! Phew! Such foolishness, such nonsense!"
Everyone, including the bird's parents, talked the bird named Berti out of his foolish idea.
"You won't fly to the sun. That's not possible. It's too far. You're a bird that belongs under the sky. You won't get above the sky. Be like the others and don't be crazy and don't fantasize!" the bird's father urged him, but our Berti couldn't do it. He kept flying to a tall tree in the garden and watching the children's window and was sooooo happy when that beautiful song came out of it.

And so time passed and the little bird slowly grew. Soon he was an adult bird, but he did not give up on his dream.
"I can do it. I will fly to the Sun, greet it and return to the ground," he decided and from time to time tried to fly as high as possible. He managed to get to the clouds, but there he felt dizzy and began to fall to the ground. He just woke up, before he hit the ground, and with quick flaps of his wings he managed to save his life.
His bird friends who were watching laughed at him: "See, you fool? You won't fly to the Sun! It's impossible! If you try again - you'll just hurt yourself!"
But Berti didn't listen to their doubtful chirping and from time to time tried to fly through the clouds. It always happened, but it turned out the same. He felt dizzy and began to fall down.

But one day, luck smiled on him. He was sitting in a tree again, near the picturesque house, listening to what was coming from the children's room. The news was on the TV and Berti heard:
🔊: "Today is a big day for rocket🚀 and cosmonautics. In an hour, at nine in the evening, a rocket with two astronauts👨🚀👨🚀 will head towards the Sun🌞 and orbit it. It is a significant event that we can all look forward to!👍"
Berti cheered, because a bold plan flashed through his bird's head. He knew that the launch pad from which the rocket was to launch to the Sun was not far from here. He immediately flapped his wings and soon flew to the launch pad. He saw a huge rocket waiting patiently, tied with many cables, on the launch pad, when it was nine o'clock. After all, START was scheduled for nine.
In the meantime, the rocket was being loaded. Berti watched with bated breath, waiting for the right moment. He flew, stealthily, carefully and inconspicuously, to the very entrance to the rocket, and when no one was looking, he secretly flew inside without even making a sound.
Soon after that, the loading of the material was finished, the astronauts boarded, the rocket roared, and the loud voice of the flight commander was heard from the loudspeakers everywhere, as he began to count down:
📢: "Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two – ONE -START!" 💥🚀
Then the rocket engines roared even more and the rocket soared into the sky with a mighty roar. Berti was not frightened. He hid in a small hiding place behind the astronauts' spacesuits and heroically waited there to see what would happen. The rocket flew into space and headed for the Sun. As it flew around him, Berti squeezed himself to the window and happily waved to the Sun: "Hey, Sun! I'm here! Greetings from my little brother and others birds! I DID IT! I DID IT!"
And it really was, children. Berti did it. The rocket with him on board flew around the Sun, thus fulfilling its mission and returning to Earth. When they opened the hatches, Berti flew out unnoticed and flapped his wings enthusiastically to quickly share the great news that he had accomplished what he had set out to do with his parents and all his friends. Everyone enthusiastically welcomed and celebrated him, and Berti became a real hero, because he became the first bird in the world to greet the Sun.
And what does this mean, children? Maybe someone has a dream that seems impossible. Everyone tells them it's impossible. Yes. Maybe it is, but not everyone has the determination to follow their dream. And when you follow your dream, maybe paths you never dreamed of will open up before you. Just like in the case of our little bird Berti, who traveled by rocket to the Sun!
